My 'Best of Dunedin'

Dunedin Street Art

I really enjoy artwork, and I would like to see more of it around Dunedin. I find street art fantastic for 2 reasons: firstly it gets rid of blank walls, and secondly it makes the place look lively and energetic. I can remember Dunedin before these art installations, and the energy was missing. I have never heard anyone say ‘I wish there was a blank wall there!’

Dunedin Chinese Garden

I feel it grounds Dunedin to its Chinese Heritage – the Chinese gold miners have a huge history in Otago. I wish there was more of this type of artwork and dedication for our Maori heritage.

Otago Museum

One of the pillars of Dunedin, Otago Museum is one of the most iconic parts of the city. I don’t think there’s a single Dunedin person who hasn’t been there. What else needs to be said?

Dunedin Public Art Gallery

This is quietly one of my favorite places in Dunedin, I’ve been drawn in more than a few times and spent a lot of time walking around.
